Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Murrieta Mesa). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Norte Vista Braves 57-13. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their 25-point performance the game before.

Leading Murrieta Mesa to victory were Jolie Hanna and Janesa Johnson. Hanna posted six points in addition to 11 steals and six boards, while Johnson went 5 for 8 on her way to 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave Hanna a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Neriah Asuega, who had 11 points and five rebounds.

With the win, Murrieta Mesa broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10. As for Norte Vista, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Murrieta Mesa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 57-50 victory against Linfield Christian on the 3rd. As for Norte Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-15 loss against Patriot on the 7th.
