Soccer Game Preview: Manual Arts vs. West Adams

Manual Arts is on a three-game streak of home losses, West Adams a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Manual Arts Toilers will host the West Adams Panthers at 4:15 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Manual Arts fell victim to Jefferson and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 4-0 to the Democrats. While losing is never fun, the Toilers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 966th, while the Democrats are ranked 367th).

Meanwhile, West Adams also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 2-0 to Diego Rivera on Wednesday.

West Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Manual Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7-3.

Manual Arts beat West Adams by a goal in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 1-0. Will Manual Arts repeat their success, or does West Adams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
