Softball Recap: Durant Takes a Loss

Durant managed to slip by Charles Page the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 8-1 to the Sandites on Saturday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Durant saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dasia Lewis, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Durant's defeat dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Charles Page, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-12.

Coming up, Charles Page will challenge Collinsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Durant will be paying especially close attention to the Sandites' contest: after the Sandites face off against Jenks, they'll take on Durant again at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
