Basketball Game Preview: West Catholic Burrs vs. Cardinal O'Hara Lions

West Catholic is 2-8 against Cardinal O'Hara since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The West Catholic Burrs will look to defend their home court against the Cardinal O'Hara Lions at 6:30 p.m. Cardinal O'Hara took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on West Catholic, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, West Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Conwell-Egan Catholic, but they still walked away with a 51-45 victory.

Ciana Blake went supernova for West Catholic, putting up 16 points and five steals. That's the most steals Blake has posted since back in January of 2024. Milan Trusty was another key player, posting nine points.

Meanwhile, Cardinal O'Hara is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Caravel. Cardinal O'Hara fell just short of Caravel by a score of 48-45. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

The win got West Catholic back to even at 10-10. As for Cardinal O'Hara, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
