Basketball Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss

Bedford lost against Greater Johnstown back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The matchup between the Bedford Bisons and the Greater Johnstown Trojans didn't end well, with the Bedford Bisons falling 57-41. While losing is never fun, the Bisons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Trojans are ranked 154th).

Bedford has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Greater Johnstown, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

Bedford won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bellefonte at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Greater Johnstown has already played their next matchup (against Bedford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
