Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Boiling Springs

Boiling Springs extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Molly Kimmel. The Boiling Springs Bubblers took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 46-8 victory over the Dover Eagles thanks in part to Kimmel, who went 9 for 15 on her way to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. The match was her third in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Madyson Brownawell, who posted eight points and five rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 16 times she's played.

Boiling Springs' record is now 9-0. As for Dover, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Boiling Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-40 win against Susquenita on the 28th. As for Dover, they will head out to challenge Big Spring at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
