Baseball Game Preview: First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders vs. Bulloch Academy Gators

The First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders will challenge the Bulloch Academy Gators at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. First Preparatory Christian Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with five straight defeats, while Bulloch Academy will come in with six straight victories.

First Preparatory Christian Academy's last matchup with Liberty County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. First Preparatory Christian Academy lost 10-3 to Liberty County.

Hayden Arney made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bulloch Academy). They put the hurt on Mount de Sales Academy with a sharp 22-9 win on Friday. Considering the Gators have won five contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bulloch Academy pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11 runs. As for First Preparatory Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

First Preparatory Christian Academy came up short against Bulloch Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2021, falling 9-5. Can First Preparatory Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
