Soccer Recap: Stagg Gets the Win

Stagg proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Edison Vikings a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Stagg were the better team in the second half.

Stagg's victory bumped their record up to 4-7-3. As for Edison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Stagg will challenge Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Stagg surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edison, they will face off against Tokay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
