Baseball Recap: Coffee Comes Up Short

Coffee was the 5-2 winner over Thomas County Central when they last played one another back in March of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Coffee Trojans fell 7-4 to the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coffee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Thomas County Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

While Coffee had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
