Basketball Recap: Mercer Comes Up Short

Mercer lost against Sharpsville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mercer Mustangs received a blow as they fell 51-35 to the Sharpsville Blue Devils.

Mercer's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Sharpsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Mercer nor Sharpsville have any future games scheduled.
