Soccer Recap: Wesleyan's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wesleyan proved they can win big last Friday (they won by five) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Mount Vernon Mustangs 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Wesleyan sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Wesleyan's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Mount Vernon, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Wesleyan and Mount Vernon will both be playing Mount Pisgah Christian the next time they take the pitch. Wolves will host the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
