Football Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. Panorama Pythons + How To Watch

Kennedy has won seven straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Panorama has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Cougars will welcome the Pythons at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Kennedy against Van Nuys as the team secured a 40-10 win. That 30 point margin sets a new team best for the Cougars this season.

Diego Montes produced another solid effort throwing for 211 yards and three TDs on only 13 passes, while also punching in one score on the ground. What's more, he racked up 145 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Josue Sandoval was another key player, rushing for 104 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Kennedy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 245 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Van Nuys only rushed for 145.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Kennedy's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jaycoby Carter, James Montes, and Kevin Gatewood, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, Panorama got themselves on the board against Reseda on Thursday, but Reseda never followed suit. They blew past the Regents 31-0. Considering the Pythons have won three contests by more than 27 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Panorama's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Kennedy against Panorama in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-14 victory. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pythons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
