Softball Recap: Logan-Rogersville Wildcats vs. Bolivar Liberators
Logan-Rogersville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Bolivar Liberators. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Liberators from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
Bella Pope spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and six unearned) runs on ten hits.
On the hitting side, Logan-Rogersville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Shevchuk, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Logan-Rogersville now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bolivar, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan-Rogersville will welcome Aurora at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bolivar, they will square off against Glendale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
