Basketball Recap: Ray Sets Scoring Season-High Against San Miguel

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ray). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 78-41 victory over the San Miguel Vipers. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ray to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chase Chester, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 15 points. Jhett Young was another key player, going 6 for 10 on his way to 14 points.

Ray's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for San Miguel, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Ray will head out to square off against San Manuel at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering San Manuel has lost six straight at home and Ray five straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. As for San Miguel, they will host Desert Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
