Basketball Recap: Cameron County Comes Up Short

Cameron County lost against Kane back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cameron County Raiders lost 53-27 to the Kane Wolves. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kane found their leader in freshman Addison Haight, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 16 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Haight has scored all season. Hailee Sheaffer was another key player, putting up five points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Cameron County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Kane, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Cameron County will take on Otto-Eldred at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kane, they will square off against Port Allegany at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
