Baseball Recap: Brooks County Takes a Loss

Brooks County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Irwin County Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Brooks County's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Irwin County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

While Brooks County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
