Recap: Lancaster Eagles vs. Eastside Lions
The Lancaster Eagles lost against the Eastside Lions back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lancaster received a tough blow as they fell 68-49 to Eastside.
Eastside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Niela Marshall, who scored 21 points. Kayla Correa was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Lancaster's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7. As for Eastside, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster will take on Quartz Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastside, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Antelope Valley at 5:00 p.m. Antelope Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Eastside likes a good challenge.
