Soccer Recap: Cibola Takes a Loss

Cibola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Volcano Vista Hawks. Cibola were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-0.

Cibola's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Volcano Vista, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cibola will challenge rival Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Volcano Vista is set to take on their familiar foe Piedra Vista at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
