After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glynn Academy, Islands was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy a 5-0 shutout. Islands might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from JJ Stein (2), Ayush Shrestha, Charlie Neall, and TJ Hapakuna-Nunuha.

Islands moved to 12-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Islands will square off against Union Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, they will head out to face off against North Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
