You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Troy on Friday. Everything went their way against the Canton Warriors as they made off with a 43-22 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

Troy found their leader in sophomore Kyah Renzo, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Emma Mickley, who posted six points.

Troy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Troy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Canton, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Troy and Northeast Bradford will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Canton, they will venture away from home to challenge Meadowbrook Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
