It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Shaw had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Jackson Red Devils as they made off with a 5-2 win. Shaw might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Jackson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fabian Burac (2), Kelvin Reyez (2), and Andres Bonilla.

Shaw has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 76 goals over those 14 matches. As for Jackson, they moved to 14-5 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Coming up, Shaw will square off against Coahulla Creek on Friday. Coahulla Creek will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Shaw surely won't give up without a fight. Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
