Baseball Recap: Centerville Takes a Loss

Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 12-4 to the Hagerstown Tigers. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 8-5 to the Tigers when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Centerville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coltyn Morris, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hagerstown, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Centerville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-2 victory against Union City on the 13th. As for Hagerstown, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 defeat against Northeastern on the 14th.
