Softball Game Preview: New London Tigers vs. Pella Christian Eagles

The New London Tigers will head out to face off against the Pella Christian Eagles on Monday. New London is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

New London lost 13-5 to Hillcrest Academy on Thursday.

Sigourney typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Pella Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Savages. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Pella Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for New London, their loss dropped their record down to 2-21.

New London suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Pella Christian in their previous meeting back in June of 2023. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
