Soccer Recap: Clovis West Comes Up Short

After flying high against Clovis on Tuesday, Clovis West came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Clovis North Broncos by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Clovis West couldn't quite close it out.

Clovis West now has a losing record of 4-5-3. As for Clovis North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Clovis West is set to face off against their familiar foe Central East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clovis North will take on rival Clovis East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
