Baseball Recap: Treutlen Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Treutlen can now relate to. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs on Thursday. The Vikings' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Peyton Miller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Treutlen's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Emanuel County Institute, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-6.
