Ponderosa won the last time they faced Union Mine and Clark Woods, II did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bruins came out on top against the Diamondbacks by a score of 73-62 on Saturday for which the team can thank Woods, II, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Travis Bays, who posted seven points. He also put up a block, which was his first of the season.

Union Mine lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jon Henri Deville, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 14 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Christian McPartland, who scored 11 points and five boards.

The win made it two in a row for Ponderosa and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Union Mine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Ponderosa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-57 defeat against Rocklin on the 8th. As for Union Mine, they have also already played their next matchup, a 75-63 loss against Del Campo on the 9th.
