Soccer Recap: Madrid Comes Up Short

Madrid lost against Nevada back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cubs by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Madrid have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Madrid and nudges their season record down to 5-5-2. As for Nevada, they pushed their record up to 11-6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Madrid didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 victory against Winterset on the 6th. As for Nevada, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Boone on the 5th.
