While Thomas Jefferson didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Trinity Hillers on Tuesday as the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars made off with a 60-39 win. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Thomas Jefferson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.7 points. As for Trinity, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thomas Jefferson won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Clairton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Clairton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Trinity, they are taking a road trip to challenge Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
