Two dominant backs in Kamron Lloyd and Adam Pempsell are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Dunbar will be playing in front of their home fans against Godley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dunbar will be strutting in after a victory while Godley will be coming in after a loss.

Dunbar is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Venus 54-0 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dunbar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Demetri Lawson, who threw for 198 yards and four TDs on only nine passes. Detrick James was another key receiver, picking up 117 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Godley faced off against Benbrook on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bobcats, falling 35-14. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Godley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Dunbar, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.
