            Softball Preview: Shaw Raiders vs. Crisp County Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            For the second straight game, Shaw will face off against Crisp County. The Raiders will host the Cougars  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Shaw is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6  runs per game  this season.
Shaw is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Crisp County with a sharp  16-6 win. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Katlyn Moss spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and two unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

 At the plate,  Michayla Bledsoe was  incredible,  going 1-for-4 with six  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  six  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.  Ava Gerber was another key player,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Crisp County's defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-13. As for Shaw, their win bumped their record up to 15-13.
