After flying high against Fitzgerald on Thursday, Worth County came back down to earth. The Rams fell 7-3 to the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets on Saturday. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Laurie Pritchard was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run was her first of the season.

Worth County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Jeff Davis, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
