Football Game Preview: Irondale Knights vs. St. Francis Fighting Saints + Official Tickets

The Irondale Knights will venture away from home to square off against the St. Francis Fighting Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Irondale has given up an average of 31 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Irondale took a blow against Buffalo, falling 42-6. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Bison are ranked 49th).

The home team had won the previous four meetings between St. Francis and Cambridge-Isanti, and Cambridge-Isanti kept the tradition alive. The Fighting Saints took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejackets on Friday.

Irondale dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for St. Francis, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Irondale was dealt a bruising 47-19 defeat at the hands of St. Francis in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Knights, Colton Abrahamson (who rushed for 155 yards and three scores on only ten carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
