Baseball Recap: Lithonia Takes a Loss

Lithonia fell victim to Northview and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Titans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost six in a row.

Lithonia's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Northview, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lithonia will face off against rival Tucker at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Northview is set to square off against their familiar foe Marist at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Northview is on a three-game streak of home wins, Marist a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
