After flying high against Locust Grove on Monday, Jackson came back down to earth. The Red Devils fell just short of the Lamar County Trojans by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday. The Red Devils' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lamar County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will challenge Upson-Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lamar County, they will face off against Crawford County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
