Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Camden County). They put the hurt on the Colquitt County Packers with a sharp 6-2 victory on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Camden County considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Their offense was hitting Colquitt County from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Mateo Salvatierra led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Camden County and bumps their season record up to 13-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two matches. As for Colquitt County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Camden County will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Frederica Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for Colquitt County, they will venture away from home to face off against Veterans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Veterans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Colquitt County surely won't give up without a fight.
