Softball Recap: Fayette Falcons vs. Salisbury Panthers
It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Fayette ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Salisbury Panthers 11-9. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 14-3 loss the last time these two teams met.
Payton Kindle spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and eight unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
