Soccer Recap: Gatewood Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Gatewood and Trinity Christian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Gatewood Gators came up short against the Trinity Christian Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Gatewood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gatewood will venture away from home to take on Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Trinity Christian, they will head out to square off against John Milledge Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. John Milledge Academy's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
