Football Recap: Jackson Free's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hillcrest over Greenwood + How To Watch

If Hillcrest was riding high fresh off their 29-7 takedown of Mauldin last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams took a 24-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenwood Eagles on Friday. Despite 164 more yards than the Eagles, the Rams couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jackson Free, who threw for 260 yards and three TDs. A healthy portion of that aerial production (141 yards to be exact) went to Luke McCourry.

Among those leading the charge was Tristan Lewis, who rushed for 66 yards and a pair of scores.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Greenwood, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
