Baseball Recap: Griffin Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Griffin's offense. They came up short against the Starr's Mill Panthers on Thursday, falling 11-0. The Bears' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Griffin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Markevius Dozier, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Starr's Mill, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

While Griffin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
