Softball Recap: Lincoln Northeast Rockets vs. Kearney Bearcats
Lincoln Northeast extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping them down to 2-6. They lost 12-1 to the Kearney Bearcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-5 on Wednesday.
Lincoln Northeast saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn VanDyke, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
As for Kearney, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games.
