Softball Recap: Tupelo Takes a Loss

Tupelo fell victim to Stuart and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Tupelo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Stuart, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tupelo will take on Coalgate at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Stuart, they will challenge Wister at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
