Basketball Recap: North Penn Comes Up Short

North Penn lost against Garnet Valley back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The contest between the North Penn Knights and the Garnet Valley Jaguars didn't end well, with the North Penn Knights falling 54-38. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Jaguars are ranked 11th).

Leading Garnet Valley to victory were Haylie Adamski and Kylie Mulholland. Adamski went 8-for-20 to rack up 21 points in addition to three steals and three blocks, while Mulholland dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. That's the most blocks Adamski has posted since back in December of 2024. Savannah Saunders was another key player, putting up seven points.

North Penn's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Garnet Valley, the win was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-1.

North Penn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-42 loss against Downingtown West on the 21st. As for Garnet Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 54-44 victory against Haverford on the 22nd.
