Volleyball Recap: Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls vs. Cox Mill Chargers
After flying high against Berry last Thursday, Hickory Ridge came back down to earth. The Ragin' Bulls fell just short of the Cox Mill Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 4th.
Isabella Jackson paced Hickory Ridge's offense, picking up ten kills. Jackson got some help from Eliana Whittaker and her 18 assists. Avery Freivogel controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Isa Gaeta was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs gave her a new career-high.
Hickory Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Cox Mill, they pushed their record up to 18-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.
