Volleyball Recap: Hickory Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Berry last Thursday, Hickory Ridge came back down to earth. The Ragin' Bulls fell just short of the Cox Mill Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 4th.

Isabella Jackson paced Hickory Ridge's offense, picking up ten kills. Jackson got some help from Eliana Whittaker and her 18 assists. Avery Freivogel controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Hickory Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Cox Mill, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hickory Ridge will take on rival A.L. Brown at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cox Mill is set to face off against their familiar foe West Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
