Baseball Recap: Atlanta Jewish Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage Preparatory, Atlanta Jewish Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Maimonides M-Cats. The win was some much needed relief for the Jaguar as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jonny Wilson was excellent, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Atlanta Jewish Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Maimonides, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Atlanta Jewish Academy has already played their next contest, a 9-5 win against Tournament Opponent on the 25th. As for Maimonides, they are taking a road trip to take on Nashoba Valley Tech at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
