Football Game Preview: Rainier Columbians vs. Gaston Greyhounds + How To Watch

The Rainier Columbians are taking a road trip to challenge the Gaston Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rainier has given up an average of 46.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Rainier ended up a good deal behind Knappa and lost 34-18. The Columbians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Gaston got the win against Neah-Kah-Nie on Friday by a conclusive 43-22. The Greyhounds haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Rainier better keep an eye on Aiden Sheets. He was instrumental in Gaston's win, rushing for 201 yards and three scores on only nine carries. Chase Oylear was another key player, throwing for ten yards and a pair of TDs.

Gaston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 338 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Rainier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Gaston, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
