Softball Recap: Pueblo Central Extends Winning Streak to Six

Pueblo Central waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Pueblo South Colts get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Wildcats have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pueblo Central's victory bumped their record up to 14-3-1. As for Pueblo South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pueblo Central is set to take on their familiar foe Pueblo County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 4.1, the Hornets 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Pueblo South will face off against rival Pueblo East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
