Cathedral Prep had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came out on top against the Erie Royals by a score of 38-27. That's more bragging rights for the Ramblers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Erie still got an impressive performance from Draya Neavins, who went 7 of 12 en route to 19 points and five rebounds.

Cathedral Prep has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Erie, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-5.

The future could be bright for both Cathedral Prep and Erie: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Cathedral Prep will look to extend McDowell's six-game losing streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Erie will try to hand Warren their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
