One thing remains certain with so much uncertainty surrounding the 2020 high school football season: The Lone Star State is loaded with some of the best talent in the country.

The five ranked teams in our preseason Top 25 — No. 5 North Shore (Houston), No. 8 Duncanville, No. 11 Katy, No. 16 Southlake Carroll, and No. 24 Shadow Creek (Pearland) — combined for 19 of the 54 spots.

The Panthers had the most selections with five.
