Basketball Game Preview: Baldwin Bears vs. Springside

The Baldwin Bears are taking a road trip to challenge Springside at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin is looking for their season's first victory.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-14, which was the final score in Baldwin's tilt against Academy-Notre Dame De Namur on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 545th, while Academy-Notre Dame De Namur are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Springside was beaten by Academy-Notre Dame De Namur 69-26 on Thursday. Springside hasn't had much luck with Academy-Notre Dame De Namur recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Springside, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Baldwin strolled past Springside in their previous meeting back in February of 2021 by a score of 51-32. Will Baldwin repeat their success, or does Springside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
